Welcome to Front-end Scholar

Front-end web development is a fast-moving field. The act of keeping up with the latest frameworks and tools can be overwhelming.

Underneath the work we do as front-end developers though, is a pretty rock-solid foundation of technologies and practices, fueled by decades of contributions from some of the best minds in computer science and design.

The aim of this site is to explore the low-level aspects of front-end development (including general software and computer science principles) in a conversational manner. I hope that this will help make some advanced concepts more accessible to the wider developer community.

This site is in early stages! Visit the Things to come page to read more about the roadmap.

I hope you enjoy this site and find it useful!
